1. The data controller

BC Fleet Kft. is not required to appoint a data protection officer; for any privacy-related matters, please contact us at the details above.

2. Our principle: your privacy is a value

There is no cookie banner on this website – because there is nothing we would need your consent for.

This is not an accident; it is a deliberate choice. We regard our customers' privacy as a value, and we have therefore built this website so that:

The sections below describe in detail what we process and why. The short summary: only what you explicitly provide to us, and only so that we can respond to your enquiry.

3. Data processed when visiting the website

When serving the website, the web server – like any website – creates technical log entries (IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser identifier). These are kept solely for operational security and troubleshooting purposes, for a limited period (30 days), after which they are deleted automatically.

Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) – the secure operation of the service.

Website traffic is measured with Umami, a self-hosted analytics tool running on the group's own server. Umami:

As this measurement involves no material processing of personal data and uses no cookies, no consent is required.

Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) – improving the operation and content of the website.

4. Data processed when you contact us

If you send an enquiry through the website, write us an e-mail or contact us by phone, we process the following data:

Purpose: responding to your enquiry, preparing an offer, arranging an appointment.

Legal basis: taking steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Retention period: if no contract results from the enquiry, the data are deleted 1 year after the last contact. If a contract is concluded, the data are processed in accordance with the rules applicable to the contractual relationship (accounting and tax retention obligations).

Providing your data is voluntary; however, your contact details are necessary for us to respond to your enquiry.

5. Recipients, data transfers

Personal data are accessible only to the authorised staff of BC Fleet Kft. The IT infrastructure is operated by Bavarian Classics Zrt., a member of the same corporate group, acting as data processor in this respect – the data remain within the group's own systems in Hungary.

We do not transfer data to third parties, and no data are transferred to third countries or international organisations. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.

The only exception is a disclosure obligation towards authorities based on statutory law.

6. Data security

Data are processed on the group's own servers operated in Hungary, over encrypted connections (HTTPS), with restricted access. The infrastructure does not run in a public cloud service but in our own operated environment.

7. Your rights

With regard to your personal data, you may at any time request:

You may submit your request at info@bcfleet.hu or by post addressed to our registered seat; we will respond within one month at the latest.

8. Remedies

If you believe our data processing infringes the law, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:

In addition, you may bring the matter before a court; at your choice, proceedings may also be initiated before the regional court of your place of residence or stay.

9. Amendments to this policy

We will amend this policy if our data processing practices change; the version in force at any time is available on this page.
